Carolina Cup

This photo essay, published in The State newspaper, documents the annual Carolina Cup steeplechase in Camden, South Carolina, capturing the event from early morning preparations through the races and interactions among jockeys, trainers, and spectators. The series of photographs aims to visually communicate the energy, dedication, and traditions surrounding this event. As the photographer for this project, my role involved comprehensive coverage of the Carolina Cup, including engaging with participants throughout the day and working to meet a tight publication deadline.
